Hi- I am trying to purchase a basic drop in bed mat for my 1949 3100 short bed sidestep (daily driver). Is there a comparable size to a modern chevy P/U.
Thanks,
Tom

Just a thought, dairy farmers use rubber mats for their cows, usually 4' or 5' wide x either 7' or 8' long. They may be too thick for your liking, between 1/2" and 3/4".

Can't think of any that would be a direct fit. Most late model trucks are wider and longer. This is a good alternative here:

Tom,

I bought a thick rubber floor mat over 10 years ago. I cannot find a source now. This is odd because this bed-size was the same for many years and it is rectangular (an easy fit).

50" wide and 78 1/8" long

You might try checking at a local farm supply store, Tractor Supply Co. is where I got mine.
