has anyone came up with a paper filter that would replace the oil bath filter on the 216 for a 1950 3100?

I have seen this style with a paper element in it, I still run copper so I don't have a reference number.

The vendors and your local FLAPS will carry a few types like this with a paper element.

I use a Fram CA148. Take your filter housing to the parts store and make sure whatever you get fits to your satisfaction.
