Hi All,

Recently the Old Online Chevy Manuals were moved to a dedicated server along with The Old Car Manual Project. Some of the data from the Chevy Manuals did not make the original move and has now hopefully been corrected. If there are any bad links or images, please use the email link on the site to let me know and I'll fix it when I can.

Cheers!

And another thanks,
I frequently send people to look at your manuals, they are very helpful.

Hey Guys,

Found a few other manuals that didn't make the move.... So getting them when I can.

Hey Steve, (OldSub) I think you are probably one of the few Stovebolters I have met from this site..... Glad the manuals have been of good use to you.

Cheers!

monkey, no point in nattering all over about not finding the freebie you want, the reason you haven't found it online is because nobody has donated it - buy a 60 manual of your own or "make do" with what's available, there was little change in the 235 after 55

Same here Keith, I've found your work invaluable to my own work and find myself
referring people to it on a regular basis. I go back to the days when a few pages of the
Motor's Auto Repair Manual were the only reference material available to us, so you can
understand how much of a help TOCMP has been to me. So a BIG thanks from here.

On another note, I'm once again having a problem with the links that you've posted and
it's the same problem that I have with all of the links that Tim L. posts. The address is
about a page long when I look at the properties.
I still haven't heard a reply that makes any sense to me as to why the mile long links that
you guys are posting won't work but the simple direct links that are in my example work
just fine. Now posting this link for example, takes me right to the “Old Online Chevy
Manual’s” page: http://chevy.oldcarmanualproject.com/

I can get to the TOCMP HOME page by using the simple address: http://www.tocmp.com/
but not by using the loooooong link posted in the thread. I've
also noticed that when I go to the HOME page at TCOMP all that you have listed there
are brochures and I haven’t found a link to any of the other manuals. For instance when I
select, Chevrolet it produces a list of Models Of Chevrolet, when I select 1950 Chevrolet
that brings up a long list of numbered brochures all labeled 1950 Chevrolet Car Brochure
#---, which when I open, is literature for other makes of vehicles such as Ford or
Mercury.

Thank you for your time.

This Thank You to Keith cannot be made too often.

However, the 1960 Manual question has been triple posted in the last 24 hours.

You will find that many people look in all the fora, or they look at the "Active Topics" post, above (then at "Active Posts"). There is really no need to post the same question in multiple fora - that results in partial answers and same answers in multiple places (and some confusion).

I second that thought.
Old Online Chevy Manuals is invaluable to the Stovebolt forum with the ability to cross reference parts, among its many other benefits.
With the ultimate goal of helping others with common interest.

Thank You, Keith

Thanks Bill. I was right in the middle of trying to get the cam gear cover off last night and I needed a quick reference at that moment. With grease up to my elbows, I was hoping that someone would have had a link of my motor's manual. It was worth a shot to get me out of a jam. I hope I didn't come off as a cheapskate trying to get something for nothing. I am very appreciative for any one that takes the time to share including Keith that seems as he has dedicated a lot of time in doing so. My intention is to buy two since my motor is a '60 and the truck is a '54. I would have no problem sharing them with whomever may need them. ...that's enough nattering for now wink

No need to apologize, firemonkey.

Do not hesitate to ask a question. It would have been nice for you if someone knew of a 1960 Shop Manual on-line.
