(from memory) I have a black, a red, a pinkish, a couple of skinny brown wires, and one skinny black/white stripe wire.
I know one is hot, one goes to the coil, the other feeds the acc. devices, and one goes to the starter.. anybody have the ignition wiring diagram?
Battery is on the charger now.. i suspect i'll probably have to get the meter out and do the ole spark check to figure 'em out.. unless one of you fine folks can give me a hand.
I sold this truck a couple months ago to a Marine stationed in Iraq, who was supposed to come out this month to get it.. he found out he has to go to Afganastan, so now he dosen't want it and asked for a refund.
So now i'm thinkin' I outta get it running and driving and either sell it again, or drive it myself.
an idea is only stupid if you think about it rationally.

I have three big wires.. red, purple, and pink.
Red to pink seems to be the connection for accesory.. since with those two connected, the heater, wipers, etc work.
Momentarally touching the purple wire to the other three cranks the starter.
an idea is only stupid if you think about it rationally.
