No directions with it, so I hooked up one lead to the positive on the starter and the other to ground - push the button and nothing. What am I missing or mis-connecting? Would make it easire to set points / check engine, etc. BW | | |

The other is hooked to the pos. cable or any good hot wire. This is for GM. Other makes are different. You probably have fried that remote starter switch though.
