Does anyone know where I can get a data plate for my 1955 (2nd series)? I had the plate so I could title the truck but now I can't find the plate, only the title.

There area 2 plates on the hinge pillar. The small one made of stailess steel is the serial number plate and the big bluish one is the data plate. The big one has nothing to do with getting a tile.

Kicking self for selling off my Taskforce trucks.
Still looking for an LCF or conventional big bolt in decent shape.

As of 10-26-2022, A 55.2 Taskforce long bed now the work begins

Thanks. The truck was at my dad's house. He found the plate laying in the floorboard.

a vin tag that is not permanently attached to the vehicle has nothing to do with getting a title either, you better hope they don't inspect the vehicle to verify the title vin
