I had the plate so I could title the truck but now I can't find the plate, only the title. | | | | | Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,269 Bubba - Curmudgeon | | Bubba - Curmudgeon Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,269 | | | | | | Joined: Feb 2011 Posts: 1,362 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2011 Posts: 1,362 | There area 2 plates on the hinge pillar. The small one made of stailess steel is the serial number plate and the big bluish one is the data plate. The big one has nothing to do with getting a tile.
Kicking self for selling off my Taskforce trucks. Still looking for an LCF or conventional big bolt in decent shape.
As of 10-26-2022, A 55.2 Taskforce long bed now the work begins

He found the plate laying in the floorboard. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | a vin tag that is not permanently attached to the vehicle has nothing to do with getting a title either, you better hope they don't inspect the vehicle to verify the title vin
