The PO had placed a newer seat on top of the floor seat frame...he fortunately kept the original bench seat and all the hardware except the adjusting rod. Right now I am replacing the gas tank so I thought I would fix this issue while everythings torn apart. I did a Stovebolt search on this topic and all of the pictures that were posted are now no longer available because webshots and other servers dont allow public access now  so I thought maybe this would be a good time to refresh this topic. I really just need to know how the rod is shaped at each end where it connects to the adjusters. Thanks for the quick reply! I saw your pics in the previous postings and I have seen pics of your truck as well...all I can say is you do great work! If I zoom in as much as possible it looks like the rod goes over the top of the adjuster arm and down into the hole. If anyone has any side view shots of the rod ends or more verbal descriptions that would be very helpful too!
