Got a Dana 70, 8 lug(same as 14 bolt ff), 3.73 ratio. Got a piece of steel plate about 1.5" thick. Bored I D to fit D 70 hub. Drilled and tapped 5 on 8" bolt pattern in plate. Drilled and tapped 8 on 6.5" bolt pattern in plate. Bored out 8 on 6.5" pattern(original) in D 70 hub. Used Allen cap screws(grade 9) from inside of hub threaded into plate(no room for all bolt heads outside) outside hub. Plate stays on all the time, put appropriate Budd studs in plate to attach original 5 on 8" wheels. Had for years, works fine, probably need a rotary table and large lathe to do it right. If have to pay someone to do work, probably be scared.
