Hey guys took my ole truck out for a cruis around town and noticed the longer i drove it the worse the engine was running, usually it is just the oposite. Brought it home and started looking around, nothing was hot not even the manifold. Not cold but warm to the touch. popped of radiator cap and anti freeze was frothy looking with no pressure on cap. Yhe truck is a 49 with original 216. Any of you all had this problem b4 would appreciate it if you could head me in the right direction. By the way I have been running it with no thermastate. Thanks for any help.

Put the thremostat back in and see if that takes care of the problem.
