So i pulled the engine took the head off and found that number one piston wrist pin had worked it self out of its original position and made a nice deep groove in the cylinder wall, all other cylinders are good and the head is cracked between the valves. So what am asking is the 235 a good engine and if so im in nebraska and cant find parts or another engine. There's a 235 on Craig's list for $350 in air park in Lincoln. Check the junkyards they are all over.

The 235 was used in a lot of different Chevys for years, there has to be engine in your neck of the woods.
