The EZ-Wire kit is the way to go, John. And yes, it supports early or late alternators OR a generator. It's a very easy process, though I took 10 days doing mine ... and spent many more days before that, getting REAL familiar with what I was going to do. Consider each and every wire in the kit ... compare it to what's happening in your truck ... look at what section each wire is in and whether or not you might want to move it to a different section. Do all that before you do your install and it'll go a lot easier.
