My 1942 1.5 ton has 700x20 steer tires and 750x20 rears. I would like to use all the same tire on the truck. I assume the 750's would fender rub if used on front? In spring i will mount a rear tire on front, Just wanted to see if anyone knows already. Thanks, Mike.

you can do whatever you want, as some PO did, the sizes you have now aren't OE, but sizes varied with GVW ratings - the 7.50's will be fine on front

afterthought: I had 8.25's all around on my 46 because they were easier to find than 7.50's at a good price, and the steers just barely touched at full lock turns

I did the same thing on my truck ('46 2 ton). The info I found when I was shopping tires (which was years ago) said that both 7.50's or 8.25's were used. All I could find were 8.25's so that is what I used. They do rub just a little on a full turn but not bad. They fill up the front fenders nicely.
