Question 1: Does anyone have an electrical schematic of a 62 chevy with a 235 engine that they can email me? Question 2: What would it take to convert my generator system to an alternator system. Any recommendations on alternator models would be great. I was kinda hoping to use an alternator that had a built in regulator. Thanks to all for the advice, Bo

Then you get the DA plug and wire it up, all of which you can buy from some of the vendors listed in the LINKS section of our site. Randy Rundle, who moderates this forum has a nice little pamphlet that explains the whole thing and he sells the parts. You can also find an explanation at Inliners (Got this from our Tech Tips section.) Then you disconnect the wires to your regulator and sell it or throw it away (depending on it's condition.) That's it.
