For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2012 Posts: 3 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Nov 2012 Posts: 3 | Does anyone know where I can get the cab rubber for a 1949 Chev 5700 coe? I know that the 3100 has some parts that will fit like vents, cowls, and windows but I'm having a hard time finding the door rubber. Steel Rubber Co. doesn't know which extrusion it would be and neither do I. Any ideas where to go or what to use? | | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | if Steels doesn't have it in their library I'd think it's not available anywhere, but if there's any left on the truck at all, a comparison of the cross section/ profile might inform Steele what would work
