Does anybody have a close up picture of the rear licence plate light and bracket assembly for a '55 TF, 3100, with dipped rear bumper? Approx. measurements? I have a few odd licence plate lights and brackets, a wire welder, and some time, and want to see if I can reproduce a resonable reproduction.(More time than $$$) Or a good way to waste an evening?
Thanks, | | | | Joined: Jun 2006 Posts: 693 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Jun 2006 Posts: 693 | yeah - its kind of a waste of an evening, because you can buy that sucker for $30 license bracket or if you really want to make it - the picture at that link will give you the general layout of the bracket and you can derive the scale by taking the dimensions from any license plate you may have handy. | | | | Joined: Mar 2012 Posts: 174 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2012 Posts: 174 | tomctomc,
Thanks, pic helps alot! Worse case sceanio, I will end up buying one at a later date. Although, if I can make one, $30.00 goes towards something I can't make. As stated, more time than $$$, at this point and will give me a fun little project to try to accomplish.
Thanks again, | | |
