Found this in a backyard, here in Colorado Springs, was parked in the old garden spot since 1977. Has the original drivetrain and a rebuilt 235 out of a '58 Truck. Replaced the brake cylinders, tires, all the fluids, new exhaust and a new radiator. No it's my daily driver.

Did you see the '70s style gas pedal. We had one of those in our Chevy Van when I was a kid. Pretty Funny !!

Lovely find , my first truck as a young apprentice was a '39 like that , I did near 60,000 miles in it before I was lured away by the task force styling .....

But I'm back smile smile

Nice truck! It's cool that it's drivable. I used to have one of those gas pedals too, along with the matching dimmer switch.

It went 50 mph when I first got it, now that I took that pedal off I can only get 46 mph out of it. Who would have thought ???

I bought this one in '99. I was a junior in high school. I rebuilt all the brakes, put new tires on it. It got crashed in the late '70's. The front fenders were dented in. I had them repaired and painted. That is a 39 1/2 grill and a reproduced hood ornament.....which took me 3 years to find. It too has a 235. Excuse all of the junk in the photo, I keep it at my dad's house and that junk is from when my grandmother was moving into retirement home so that is all here junk my mother sold at garage sale. I have about $2000 into this pickup.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile
