I just got the gauges for my 52 Chevy 1/2 ton back from a local shop here in Florida. I am quite pleased. I did not like the peel and stick faces after I ordered them. The pukey brown color clashed with the red dash. The shop that I used sandblased and painted the cases. The faces were painted the color of my choice and the lettering was superbly replaced. The speedometer and odometer were repaired and calibrated. There is only one warning about using this shop, "If you don't want it done right, you talking to the wrong man." I can e-mail pictures to anyone that would like to see them. I can also give you the name and phone number of the shop. Pictures can be seen at the following link: Andrew\'s Place

How deydodat?

Did they use vinyl stick on numbers for the guages or paint or ??

They sure look clean as a whistle. Actually, they look identical to the ENCORE guages from United Speedometer.

Nice job either way. Thanks for sharing

name and address? I am sure they would love the publicity. What are their rates?

I do not know the exact process. The name of the shop is A-1 Speedometer. The address is 5955 SR 542 West, Winter Haven, FL 33880.
