I may have had the same problem that you had couple of days ago. My name was shown as the writer of a post that I hadn't made. The message count by my name was only 2 or 3. It was in a forum that is not shown in the Forum List. Looks like it may have been a forum that the monitors created to temporily hold messages by new members - possibly to capture spammers.
I can't find the post now.

I can't find the post now. That's interesting. There is no forum like you describe. New posters' posts are marked (NA) for not approved, and only Administrators and Moderators can see them until they are approved. Joined: Mar 2000 Posts: 1,184 | Rebuilding the Topics seems to have fixed it. It may be related to my deleting a bunch of spam topics when the forum was all kitty wampus. Probably screwed up the numbering sequence.
