Just replaced all channels and rubbers in the door glass. Had to replace the drivers glass and it doesn't work well without me "helping" it go down. About 1/2 way down the glass gets out of level and binds. The passenger side works well, original glass but all new guts. Thanks for any input.

I had the same problem when I replaced the channels and rubbers in my '53. I sprayed some spray silicone in the channels and it worked great.

As noted silicone spray can help (make sure there's no painting going on anywhere close) but it's possible you have the adjustment of the channels too loose as well.

Not sure what you mean by "adjustment of the channels". Could you clarify? Thanks
