I know I've read somewhere that silicon was needed to stop the cowl vent from leaking. I've searched but can't find it. Does anyone have any info on what post it was or where to put the silicon to stop the leak. It is on a 1949 truck, 1/2 ton and it has a new foam type gasket. As always, thanks for any help.
