I was fixing to bring my wheels to get them powdercoated and noticed differences in rim widths. All the wheels I have came off a 1951 3100 and one truck is a deluxe and it looks like the wheels are 1/2 wider. All of these are 16 inch wheels but I honestly didn't ever realize there was a possiblity of the width being different. Could someone please verify this because I didn't know if I should try to use them all since it is only 1/4 to 1/2 difference but want to remain as stock as possible.

There were 4.0" and 4.5" rim width wheel up to 1949 or 1950. It looks like a 4.5" rim was the standard 3100 16" rim in 1951.

Well now to search for one more wheel. These trucks are 1951's so they must have done it for another year, one was wrecked in 1960 and set in a field since then and the other was his brothers truck that bought it at the same time and has the narrower wheels but it wasn't the deluxe. I bought the wrecked truck for parts and hoping 2 wheels were good so I guess they will be going on ebay. I wonder how many wrong or missmatched wheels are on these supposedly 100 percent origional or stock trucks at Barrett Jackson lol
