I've been having this problemo for a week or so.The break lights arent working properly, the one on the drivers side works fine everytime I step on the pedal.But the one on the passengers side doesnt.I've switched bulbs, bought new ones, cleaned all the sockets in the breaklight housing.Put new wires where originals were, changed all of the fuses,cleaned the fuse sockets,cleaned the break switch.And I still endup with the same result.Funny thing is that the one that doesn't work is a lot lot brighter then the one that does work.Im lost people can you help me out. I dont want to be pulled over by the PoPo.

Biggy, it sounds like you have a ground problem. Run a jumper wire to ground your lite to the neg terminal on the batty to comfirm. Mike

I had a similar problem with mine. It has the factory turn signals. The brake lights run through the turn signal switch and mine will not center exactly after cancelling. Just a tiny bit off and the brake light on one side or the other wont function. I rigged up some small indicator lights mounted under the dash and wired them to the brake lights so I can tell if they are operating and make a small adjustment to the turn signal arm if needed to center the switch. Until I rebuild the actuator arm thats dragging this works for me. Also, I noticed with my lights on, one side was brighter than the other. I found the brake and running light leads were switched at the taillight. The brake and turn signal filament in the bulb is brighter than the other one when energized. I hope this helps.
