I found myself a nice 1996 Chevy seat for my 65 C10. It is the 60/40 split bench seat with a fold down console. Has anyone installed one of these seats into a 1960-1966 Chevy Pickup? If so what is involved? I assume some adapter brackets can be easily made with some pieces of steel plate for the current mounting holes plus some holes might have to be drilled where the two seat pieces bolt down towards the middle huh? I'd appreciate any input or ideas.

I'm sure it can, and has been done, but for me it wouldn't work. The new truck seats are much plusher, and thicker thus putting you even closer to the dash. I am 6' 3", and need all the room I can get! Good luck!
