There is supposed to be a really good chrome shop in Gainesville, just up I-35 from you. Can't recall the name of it, but there can't be too many in Gainesville. The Chamber of Commerce might be able to give their name. I hear they do excellent work. Hope this helps some.

There is a chrome shop at 175 and I20 on the northeast corner. I have had them do work and it turns out okay. They have show chrome and regular chrome. The show chrome is double of what the regular is. They do a lot of work for people around here from what I have seen when I have been there. For what it is worth. It is called Pulido Plating- 972-286-2322.
Cheers and have a great day

I've been using them for years.

I visited the shop in Gainesville 2 years back. The owner seemed very knowledgable and helpful and they did good work. His thought process was buy repops if they are much cheaper than having them redone. FOr instance his quote on the side chevrolet badge was about $100. I think you can buy them new for 1/3 the price.
He was working on rare parts for rare cars.
