Its been too long since I took apart my windshield. now its time to put it back together.
Is there a thin rubber gasket between the glass and the inside of the frame?
I have a roll of thin rubber, about 1 inch wide in my new parts pile, I think that is what goes between the window and the frame, but I thought I would check.
sorry for the basic question

I did that. It sort of falls apart easily when it gets oil on it, so be careful. jim carter sells this seal by the foot. | | | | | Joined: Jun 2012 Posts: 258 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jun 2012 Posts: 258 | just a note on the window sealer tape. the windshield tape is half the thickness of the side window tape. you need the extra thickness for the door windows | | |
