wiring diagram shows a black and blue wire with a circle next to it, in the circle it has the letters, l,x,p...shows power source fuse next to circle, don't know which wire , the black or blue wire to hook to fuse, bought from lmc, wondering if anyone else bought one from there...

How many wires on the switch?

Can you link the part number?

Generally the l x p in the circle is the 3 prong flasher designator
X= power
L= load (switch)
P= pilot (flashing light in switch)

Trace the blue and black and see if you can determine which one is for the pilot light

Of course all the above could be wrong without knowing what type of switch you have

there are 7 wires, part#36-4900, yellow,green,red.brown,orange black and blue...it shows a 14 amp fuse with a line going to the circle...inside circle has letter l which is top of circle with black wire next to it bottom of circle has letter p with blue wire next to it, then letter x in left side , middle of circle where fuse is...got it from lmc truck, they have no techs, just wondering which wire black or blue to hook fuse to...hope this makes sense, or i can try to get pic. thanks pete

The fuse should go inline to the supply power to the flasher. X.

Use a 3 prong flasher
If your kit did not come with a 3 prong flasher socket you can pick one up at your local auto parts store.

Wire the blue to the "P" slot
The black wire will go to the"L"slot

You bring your power in with the fuse and wire it to the "x" slot


If someone else sees it different please chime in
LATER EDIT:
I heard back from 696969, Sounded like his wiring kit has flashers incorporated into his fuse box. Information I gave did not help.
