No heater or ash tray cut out. Looks factory done. The rest of the dash is normal, gauge cluster ( not installed) and glove box. Wonder if anyone has seen something like this, maybe military? Thanks. Maybe Oil , Temp, Amps, and for the other two: Saddle Gas Gauges or Volts, Vacuum, Incline? The dash was either equipped with an ash tray in the space above the radio or the A/C diffuser, on the factory-equipped A/C trucks. It sounds like the area has been infilled with a panel and new holes drilled, to accomodate the aftermarket gauges. Take a look at it from the back, to be sure.
If not, you have the only one in existence, therefore it must be priceless.

Posted this before I spoke to you, turns out the owner did cut out and patch in a panel with holes for gauges. Then tore the truck apart and that was 20 years ago. Came stock with a 283 and 4 speed as you talked about. He has the pink and lots of NOS parts, wants to put a LT1 motor in it and change out the axles and basically ruin the thing.......Needless to say I am trying to buy it, though right now it is a rusting pile of........
