Hey, I"m replacing the floor pans in my 52 3100. As I was fitting the floor pan it looks like I cut a bit too much. How hard is it to fill 3/16 gap between panels, is it even worth trying? or should I just go get another floor pan?
Depends on where the shortage is and how you want it to look when done. You can always tack in a narrow metal strip. I'm not good enough with sheet metal to try and fill that much with just wire, I think you'd have a mess.
Make sure the sides of the cab didn't open up on you. Either run a strip underneath and tack and fill, or a new panel. On the floor I would just tack in a strip.
