lilrobo,they do make a special tool for doing the procedure,if you can't do it with a screwdriver and wrench.Type this into ebay search and you will see it. Engine Rocker Arm Adjustment Tool Zim Mfg co

Get one adjusted while engine is running, then if you want, shut it off and adjust the rest the same amount. Just be sure each one is off the lobe of the cam.

The ticking in the morning could be one slightly loose still, you could give all of them a 1/4 turn more, or next cold morning, pull the cover and look for the loose one only and tighten it down. One lifter may be worn or machined with more clearance.

Here are a few valve adjustment tools that Tim might be referring to - the ZIM and New Britain tools might be the same; and, they are more helpful than the Snap-On/Proto tools.

i am real close now , its just when i do a cold start i hear them ,, i will drive it a little and re adjust them ,, 1 other thing right now when hot driving at 180 to 170 temp my oil pressure is 40+ driving ,, but at light it drops to 25 is that ok?? got me worried but as soon i get on the gas it jumps to 40 again ,, the idle is about 500 to 700 rpm just guessing no way to tell ,,

It is normal for the oil pressure to drop off some at idle. It sounds like your just fine.

great iam just a little gun shy after all i been through ,, this is were you dont need a gauge to look at all the time lol
