The truck runs with the wire there and without, so for the time being it has been removed.
Any idea what this wouldve been installed for?

#90623 03/15/2004 3:24 PM | Joined: Jul 2001 Posts: 3,887 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Jul 2001 Posts: 3,887 | supplies batt voltage to the coil when the starter is engaged - otherwise voltage is supplied thru the ignition resistor and is less than 12v - will work fine w/o that wire until there's a condition that makes the motor reluctant to start, when it won't - wires w/ unknown purposes are everywhere  it's a conspiricy to make life seem complicated!! rip'em all out!
