so i put a 56 third in my 53 1/2 ton, i need to weld the axel solid but am not sure where to do that . bowtietim posted this pic a while ago but im still unclear

i dont weld the springs to the ubolt right? I need to weld the round swivel?

What does your weld-on perch look like?

U-bolts are serviceable, so never weld to them.

ok sop im gonna ask someone to come weld the swivels. Do i need to fab anything before hand or do they just have to weld over the rubber washers?
