would a 305 bolt onto a powerglide that had a 235 bolted to it? I mean a recent used 305 block from say 75 or later. I know I ask alot of questions, but the options out there are just crazy.

Prolly not without an adapter. I think the cast-iron case 'glides would only bolt to the 235/261 bellhousing. And the iron case glide won't stand up behind a V8 anyway. The later aluminum PGs for V8s were much better.

If I missed something Im sure somebody will catch it. grin
