Does anyone have an old Delco parts book that can tell me the application for Delco part # 1932079? It is a solenoid plunger and need to know if it will fit the starter solenoid for my 6 volt starter. thanks

Is there a Chevy dealership near you? Check with their parts department.

JOE I have a complete unit, But we should identify to make sure it's the one you need.A pic or a way to do so I'm lost on that. But you can have it for shipping cost if it's the right one.

I saw this book available at The Filling Station ...
> Numerical Accessory Parts List 1929-1978

Purchase only / not available on line. Seems like a good reference to answer questions like yours. (No, I didn't buy it.)

Truck,
thanks for the offer. I rolled the dice and bought this plunger as that is the only part I am missing and was having trouble finding one. Sure wish I would have talked to you sooner. If this one doesn't work out I will let you know and maybe we can exchange pics to see if what you have works.
thanks again for looking!
