The truck has 4 spd 456's gears,I think I'm gonna find some 1/2 ton diffs with a better hiway gear.

I have a 63 K-20. Wondering about how to find info on total production numbers. Mine has 456 Gears as well, never be a highway star but is sure a fun truck.

Yea bigtrucks mine is actually sittin on a 1970 4x4 frame and I'm sure po swapped the 1/2 ton axles for the 3/4 ton....so I'm gonna look fro some 1/2 ton better hi-way gear friendly....would like to see pics of your truck....
