My '60 Chevy Suburban has a "Climatic Air" by Royal air conditioner installed under dash. Works great but can't find any info on it. Could it have been an option when new? I 'm just the third owner. The second owner knew the first and said it had been on there as long as he could remember.

Thanks Hyatt, I'm going to take a pic of it this weekend and, once I figure out how, will post it. I've tried Google searches, but no luck. 2 Original 1960 truck parts books came with the Burb, so going to look in them also.

The Cool Pack air conditioner would be the GM accessory air conditioner for your burb. If you have access to an original owners manual, there is at least one good picture of the underdash unit in it. The truck units are different from car units in appearance and color. The truck units are very rare.
Good luck with your ac. Looks good and will definitely be an attention getter wherever you go.

Master Gabster, this definitely looks like the company. Really enjoy the ad! Wish I had the poster. My ac though has two rectangular outputs with vertical blades to direct flow. In between are two vertical control dials. On the lower left is "Climatic Air" and on the lower right is "Royal".

There's an outfit in the Dallas area I believe named Classic Auto Air that could possibly do you some good on parts.
