My engine is completely under the cab. Its pretty cheap and I put two layers on the floor. I did not have it on the engine cover at first and the wife burnt her foot on it. Now not a bit of heat. Your truck looks cool and very well put together..... | | | | | Joined: Aug 2012 Posts: 6 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Aug 2012 Posts: 6 | Look up ez cool insulation. I bought it last November, & have started a frame-off. Plans are to put a Holmes Wrecker body on it. I have the frame done, new 350 c.i. with a TH475 trans. All of the sheetmetal is bead blasted and ready to start the body work. Right now I'm trying to find 22.5" Alum. wheels...6 hole. No luck yet!

Would they look to small in you opinion? | | | | | Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 6,225 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 6,225 | Depends on how tall the tires are on the 19.5 wheels, but most agree they look to small. You also didn't say which series your LCF is...that can also make a difference and what your final plan is since it's sitting on a 1-ton frame. Post some pictures so we are looking at what you're looking at...
