Just what is the best/proper way to bench bleed this rascal? Thanks

Bought the proper brake line, made a loop back to filler hole, put in vice, fill with brake fluid and start pumping till all bubbles are gone. Paint it first though. | | | | Joined: Sep 2007 Posts: 54 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Sep 2007 Posts: 54 | Thanks! Off to napa to get a brake line.

Can't remember now whether they were in reproductions or NOS I've bought both. The bolt head may have been 5/16 diameter of bolt smaller.

They do have a 5/16" head on them but the screw size is more like a #6 or #8. Many of the old shop manuals show this type of bleeder. My guess would be that it is to keep the bleeder hole clean and dirt free. | | |
