My truck is an early 1949 according to my Vin, my center bow also has holes in it leading me to believe it is correct. I have what Classic Parts sent me for a headliner which looks to require some trimming to make fit correctly. My question is does anyone have an pics of an EARLY 1949 headliner installed with the center screw in bow? Is there actually a center trim bow? Or does the headliner simply get screwed up the the center cab bow? I never actually had a headliner installed in my truck before this restoration so I'm kind of lost. Also my assembly book only shows a pic of the later float style headliner. Basically I need help here, thanks in advance.

On my early 49, there is a metal bow that is screwed over the headliner seam to hide it.
