Every thing was working FINE on my 53, 3600 pu,but i had to change the park/signal light with led,s. Should have left it alone. Changed back to orignal lights,then no blinkers.But light stay's on, on collum. Changed flasher{was bad}and replased a bulb. Still no blinkey. Park lights o\are working. Any ideas (back lights good)did'nt check pass. side though, looked good last night, so did the bad one, need new glass's. Thanks Guy's you allways come through. The flasher "tube" must be made for use with LEDs. The old style (non-electronic) flasher needs a certain amount of light-bulb "draw" in order to flash. Classic Parts and Chevs of the 40s sell LED flashers. | | | | | Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 200 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 200 | Tim is correct. I have a 51, 6 volt system. I have LEDs in the rear sockets and normal lights in the front for turn signals. The normal lights produce enough resistance to work the flasher. If you use LEDs all around there is not enough resistance to work the flasher.
