have removed clutch and found pressure plate and fly wheel needs machining. have taken to my local clutch shop. They can do the above but say that the clutch disc can not be relined as too worn out

I have looked at the usual retailers like jim carters, Filling station, and can see a disc for 1925-1931 and 1938-1954 but non for 1937.

Anyone know where i can get one - preferably with out a core charge as I live in New Zealand

(clutch disc is 10inches across and has 8 spine in centre)

GM parts book shows 1932-37 being the same.
9" disc. pass & 1/2 ton
10" 1933-37 large truck.
If yours has a 10" disc it has been replaced with one from a larger truck. You can use a 9' disc if you find one as both 9" and 10" use the same flywheel and pressure plate.
These disc's are special in that they have a recessed center to clear the flywheel bolts.
A 1925-29 disc will work if you come across one, it just does not have the spring cushioned center.
