hi i ts my first message, i m very proud to be here, my name is Simon 48 year old, mechanic by trade and old chevy truck lover, my ride is a 41 chevy 1/2 ton pick-up, with a 52 235c.i.4 speed trans, i m working on my truck for two years, the rear end,suspension,brakes,direction,cooling system is all redone and the engine and trans. recieve a good clean up and runs very well. presently i am in the body finishing and finally, the interior, i have few questions to you stovebolters concerning my 41, and surely someone here gave me the right answers ! bye !

Hi there Simon. I really like the looks of the art deco trucks. Sounds like you have a nice ride. I'm in the same stage as the body/paint and interior are next. I have a 1950 3/4 ton. 58-62 235, 4 speed.

Please post a few pics. I'm sure you will get answers, but I'm sure with you experience, you can help others.

Hi Simon, welcome. If you've been working on it for 2 years, you might be half finished, good that the engine and transmission are running well.

We have lots of experts here, lots of '41 owners too. Be sure to browse through the various forums to see where best to post your questions. Good luck.
