Did any year truck have 17" 8 lug single wheels that where tubeless I would like to get a set for my 46 Chevy 1 Ton

No, unless they're quite modern 17" wheels were always tube type on our old trucks.

The tubeless wheels available back in about 56 and later were all half sizes, like 17.5, 19.5, and 22.5"

They did make 17.5" and 19.5" 8 lug wheels, you can probably get new ones of either.

I have a set of older 19.5 single wheels for my 52 1 ton, They look quite nice and with an 8R19.5 tire area bout 32-33" tall.

Thanks Grigg I'll look into the 19.5 wheels and tires. I had a good set of the 17" tires off my 2011 3500HD I thought I would use, but they are tubeless and my wheels are tube type.
