59 Chevy 1/2 ton
Upgrading to a non booster dual chamber master cylinder and keeping the four wheel drums. Does it matter which chamber it plumbed to the front brakes? No need for a proportioning valve, right?

No need for a proportioning valve.
Plumb the front brakes to the first part of the cylinder, the first chamber, to get the juice first. The rears are secondary.
