Hi, I am working on a 42 Chevy 1/2 ton pickup and am going to put a S 10 rear end in with a coil over rear suspension and a Mustang II front end on it, and was looking into the Heidt's coil over 4 link rear suspension, I heard that they make a good product, I would like some input on the other manufactures, and at Summit sales only list for a 47 and up, are the frames similar or are they totally different, and they are bolt on type and are they as strong as weld on, the thing is I can not find on that will fit a 42, JPL has one but it is bolt on too, Thanks for any help you have

The 47 and up frames are much different. It would probably take some fab to get it to fit properly.

Have a look at TCI's stuff. They might have something for your truck, and their kits are really good.

OK now another question that I have is that with me going to a coil over rear set up and a Mustang II frontend, would I be better with a 2" dropped spindle to keep my ride level or stay with the stock ones,I don't what to change the ride height or maybe a little lower but I do not what a low rider, thanks for any help you my have and sorry for asking so many Questions but I am new at doing any type of modification on things like this, Thanks
