Ok so three things:
1) love the collection of old stovebolt toy trucks, especially the Tx DPS one
2) love the LED blinker indicators, why is this not in the Tech tip section
3) need more description of the gauge rebuild, such as more on the use of the aftermarket volt gauge? What changes you made, etc.

I've got some repainting done on 2 of 3 sets of gauges, and am about to get busy putting the senders/etc. back together, and would love more info on this!

1) thanks, been collecting them for a few years now. I don't have the talent to build them.

2) I just installed the indicators last week and tested them out. I really like l them. They are in a good field of vision.
Very visible in day light, they are really bright at night. I wasn't sure if I wanted green or amber lights. The green works well. Mainly I didn't want them to noticeable when off.

3) they gauge voltmeter change is still a work in progress. Have not been able to find a meter that fits inn-the housing. The one I tested sticks out the back and the housing has to be drilled out for it fit. But it did work on a bench test. It's been over a year since I've worked on it, been enjoying driving the truck.. Most of what I wanted to share is in the pic folders. Hopefully I'll be able to complete the project and have better information.

Thanks again and if you happen to find agood match for the center button color please let me know.
