I have 700x15 tires on original rims that are about 30". They look a tad small, I am thinking 32" would be ok, like a 750x16. Also I am wondering if larger diameter rims fit better on front. All my existing rims clear the steering components.

I've located a local Dexstar distributor, and will get some 16.5x6.75 rims with the 8x6.5 bolt pattern, and put STA Traxion 8.75x16.5 snow tires on them, which gives me my 30" diameter. I have a 16x6 rim and two 16x6.5 rims, which will fit a Traxion 7.50x16 tire on the 16x6, but that tire is 32" in diameter. No good for spare. I will probably save the three 16" rims for an eventual radial shift, if one pair fits on the front.....
