Hi guys - have mounted the bed back on my truck. I have a new wood and bolt kit, but I was wondering if anyone had a pic of their bed with the correct place for the cross sills. I think i know where the front and back bars go, from the pictures i took on disassembly, but I'm not sure where the middle one goes as there doesn't seem to be any holes in the frame for it. I looked on mar k but there wasn't any diagrams that helped. Thanks,
Matt

Testing my memory here....as I recall, that sill piece just rests on the curve of the frame. Location is determined by underside of bed boards ?

..Bruce is right. There is a sill on each side of the frame where it kicks up. I'll bet if you slide the sill along the chassis with the block underneath it you'll get to a point where you may find the hole in the chassis.
Curious if you find the holes.

Maybe this will help. This is my 37 and the one just before the rear. No guarantee that this is 100% correct due to condition of my truck when I started on it but I "believe" it is correct.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile
