I have 1954 3600. I was taking the speedo apart to clean, paint and redo the numbers. After the bezel and glass came offthere were 3 fiber pieces that fell out. They are 3/4" wide and 2 3/4' to 3" long, also bent to possibly go around the speedo head. When you put them end to end they only go approx. half way around the speed head. I can't figure out where the go. They fill in a gap somewhere. Boy do I need help.

Thanks Tony

The best I remember, they go between the outer bezel and the glass, kinda inside the outer bezel. They make the glass fit tight to the inner bezel. Buy new ones. Reproductions are rubber and may be one piece, two pieces, or three pieces.
