Not true ! They lasted about 2 days (with alot of pumping) then I lost all pedal along with the brake fluid in the cylinder. I paid alot to have so little done. Anyway, he said I probably need a complete overhaul of the brakes at the hubs. Does that sound about right ? I will if it requires it but hauling this big 2 ton rig around on a wrecker is pretty expensive  Thanks, Troy

'47 GMC 1 ton w/ 302, NP-540, 4wd, full width Blazer front axle.
'54 GMC 630 w/ 503 gasser, 5 speed, ex fire truck, shortened WB 4', install 8' bed.
'55 GMC 370 w/270, 420 4 speed, grain, dump bed truck from ND. Works OK.

Have you done anything about those widowmaker wheels yet? If it's got a Hydrovac brake booster, that's a possible place the fluid is going. They're bad about leaking fluid into the vacuum chamber and never showing an external leak, and rebuilding one is a real pain! Fortunately, they're not too expensive as a rebuilt exchange unit. If the wheel cylinders are leaking, there will be wet brake fluid stains on the inside of the front tires, or between the rear duals.
