I started to rebuild my doors for my 59 3800, i put the new window glass in the old frames awhile ago i went to put the glass in the door and set it into the window regulator, i saw that the rubber that seals the bottom of the glass in the frame has a lip that swings up and out , i put it going to the back side of the glass (facing the cab), i can't remember if it goes that way or facing the outside of the glass (facing out) i think i did it backwards, can anybody set me straight, im not really sure what these parts are called so bear with me thanks

yes, backwards, the lip should go to the outside to seal the window [somewhat] against water entry into the door [make sure the drains are clear at the bottom of the door too] .... the rubber piece is called a lower sash seal
